Project Omeaga |

Project Omeaga was initiated when there was material to be released, which did not live up to the expectations of a regular Meagashira track. The tracks were more experimental, emptier and having less well-established structure. Ridicule or almost absurd elements are common ingredients for a Project Omeaga track: it's hardcore with a wink.
The first example of this new ‘genre’ is Prozac-Attack, released on enzyme 04. A hardcore track can’t possibly get any emptier. The follow-up Prednison-Attack was to become a smash hit, bit it was initiated as an experimental stomper. As B-2 track it took a while for the dj's to discover it, but in 2004 this track was played at every hardcore event in the world one can think of. Downside is that it was overplayed a bit too much, but around the globe dj's still play the original track, or the “Fuck the Poser” edit by The Viper. Nice to know is that the synth-sound in the track is in fact not a synthesizer sound, but a thoroughly tweaked voice sample of the producer himself.
During the years to come the Project Omeaga project allowed for releases such as the Prednison-Attack VIP series, where 4 individual ‘Attack’ tracks were released on white vinyl. Real experimental tracks were released on Enzyme10 and 20, in the form of ‘…for Enzyme X’ and 'Valium-Attack'. The latter title is the conclusion of the 'medicine' series, since there are - as the producer once declared - simply no cool medicine-names left.
The track 'Miss Parkinson', released on his last EP (Enzyme15) opened the door for more 'disease' tracks. Evidence can be found on the recently released Enzyme30 album, containing the title 'Lady Alzheimer'. These obscure titles leave food for thought, but sometimes good songs do not necessarily have meanings understandable with common sense.
